Cremation Prices

NOTE --- Crematory Fees will be added to each package listed below. Currently, the charge for adults under 250 pounds at Rosewood Crematory is $195.00. Click HERE for some additional crematory pricing information.

The following prices provide for a one-time transportation to the funeral home. If an autopsy is required to determine the cause of death or requested by family or friends, additional transportation fees may apply. In certain cases, there may also be additional transportation fees for donations. However, many times the organization coordinating the donation will pay for any additional fees incurred.

Adults weighing LESS than 250 pounds:
No Viewing or Services with the physical body present:

• Direct Cremation - $ 734.00 INCLUDES ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER

  This package includes all funeral home charges involved when a death occurs from the time a person is picked up until the Cremains are returned. There is no viewing or service at the funeral home after the decedent is moved from the place of death.

  If desired, private family viewing can be added to this package.

  
  
• Direct Cremation - $1,034.00 INCLUDES MEMORIAL SERVICE

  This package includes all funeral home charges involved when a death occurs from the time a person is picked up until the Cremains are returned. There is no viewing or service at the funeral home after the decedent is moved from the place of death. This package ALSO includes having a Memorial Service at the funeral home Monday through Friday (other choices/options are available).

  If desired, private family viewing can be added to this package.

  
  
• Direct Cremation - $ 924.00 INCLUDES ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER *AND* URN or KEEPSAKE

  This package includes all funeral home charges involved when a death occurs from the time a person is picked up until the Cremains are returned. There is no viewing or service at the funeral home after the decedent is moved from the place of death. This package ALSO includes your choice of a permant urn, keepsake urn, or memorial keepsake (other choices are available, both lower and higher in cost).

Adults weighing MORE than 250 pounds and LESS than 400 pounds:
No Viewing or Services with the physical body present:

• Direct Cremation - $ 884.00 INCLUDES OVERSIZE ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER

  This package includes all funeral home charges involved when a death occurs from the time a person is picked up until the Cremains are returned. There is no viewing or service at the funeral home after the decedent is moved from the place of death.

  If desired, private family viewing can be added to this package.

  
  

Adults weighing less than 250 pounds:
No Viewing or Services with the physical body present:

• Direct Cremation - $ 684.00 PLUS CREMATION CASKET or ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER

  This package includes all funeral home staff, facility, and equipment charges EXCEPT casket or alternative container involved when a death occurs from the time a person is picked up until the Cremains are returned. There is no viewing or service at the funeral home after the decedent is moved from the place of death.

  The charge for a cremation casket or other alternative container (ie - deluxe wood-base or oversize) WILL BE ADDED to this package charge.

Adults weighing less than 250 pounds:
Viewing or Services with the physical body present:

• Visitation Cremation with Public Viewing - $ 2,089.00

  This package includes embalming, dressing & casketing, cosmetology and/or hair-styling, and a scheduled 3-hour weekday public viewing (additional hours may be scheduled) with Rental casket (other cremation caskets available) at the funeral home. This does not include a service at the funeral home.

  If desired, scheduled services can be added to this package.

  
  
• Cremation with Public Viewing (3 hours) with a Service - $ 2,279.00

  This package includes embalming, dressing & casketing, cosmetology and/or hair-styling, a funeral service at Aldine Funeral Chapel during a 3-hour weekday visitation (additional hours may be scheduled) with Rental casket (other cremation caskets available).

  If desired, visitation/viewing the day/night before can be added to this package.

  
  
• Cremation with a Service at Houston-area Church with Viewing (in Harris County) - $ 2,679.00

  This package includes embalming, dressing & casketing, cosmetology and/or hair-styling, one hour viewing/visitation (if permitted) at the church (same day) immediately prior to a weekday funeral service, staff services for funeral service at Harris County location (coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, staff to attend the funeral ceremony), and funeral coach (for transfer within Harris County) with Rental casket (other cremation caskets available).

  If desired, visitation/viewing the day/night before can be added to this package.
